The US Constitution ceased to function decades ago. The outline of the new architecture of corporatist governance is becoming clear. That structure is so near completion that our new rulers funded the election of Trump to clear the ground for the techno-fuedal state that is being built out with zero oversight by our dead man walking government.

Trump, the Wrecker

Trump is a demolition contractor put in power to finish wrecking the government. The tech bros paid him for his pro-AI stance. Crypto bros paid him for regulatory support for e-currency. Miriam Adelson paid him for his over the top support of Israel. The oil industry paid him to trash environmental protection. Various convicted crooks paid him for pardons. You get the picture.

The pecking order among his customers is a little incestuous. Tech bros and Israel run Trump. But, tech bros are run by Zionists; and, perhaps by Israel’s Epstien blackmail operation. Christian Zionists also pay him, although some of the pay is the egomania stroking that Trump is the Second Coming of Christ.

The wrecking is happening at both the micro and macro levels. Some examples of micro-wrecking: He is defunding agencies he doesn’t like. He is putting incompetent crooks and fanatical ideologues into position of power in the Executive Branch. He is encouraging blatant corruption, influence peddling, self-enrichment, such as pump and dump schemes based on insider trading.

At the macro-level of completely undermining the Constitution, he is destroying the Separation of Powers with his arbitrary and illegal executive orders and firing of civil service protected workers. Those orders have been allowed, but not ruled upon, by Shadow Docket pronouncements of the SCOTUS. (The use of the Shadow Docket is a brand new encroachment on the rule of law.) The Legislative branch sold its birthright with the Iraq War AUMF and the Patriot Act. Since Citizens United, it has been deliberately gridlocked so that power flows to the President/SCOTUS. As of now, all it takes seven men - Trump and the six radical right SCOTUS justices - to rule America.

Building out the new corporatist government

Your new rulers, the tech bros billionaires, are now on public display. They were prominent at the inauguration. They made up at least half of the delegation to China. [NOTE 1] Trump destroyed the National Science Board, and replaced it with yet another crony organization, President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). And who staffs PCAST? Why your new rulers; who else? [NOTE2]

The people running the world wouldn’t wreck the governments of the West, including the UK and the EU if they didn’t have an alternative. The alternative is fascist thugs like Karp and Thiel, who are on the record as despising democracy. The alternative is the digital panopticon: censorship by platform monopolies and LLMs; surveillance via GPS and keystroke monitoring - every keystroke stored in Bluff, Utah for later use in criminal trials; financial control via CBDC.

Snake at MoA has stated the same problem much more succinctly than I:

The Epstein-class-owned, algorithm-controlled, digital-platform has excused itself from traditional regulatory control and legal liability.
Traditional Laws might manage to regulate how these platforms present, but regulators cannot control what the algorithms are doing. Neither government watchdogs nor the public are savvy to the Epstein class owned, scientifically developed higher math algorithms which are running our lives.
The algorithmic controlled, digital platform has intervened between citizen and government. Electronically operated, privately owned, algorithms are replacing government. These algorithms are interacting with every facet of your life and delivering the whims and wishes of the owners of the too big to fail.
An advanced non-governmental form of feudalism has emerged which operates outside of the reach of government. The platform is public, but its digital life is privately owned by the globally oriented Epstein Class.

The massive buildout of data centers, which nobody wants, demonstrates that tech bros run our country, not democracy. They use reverse blockbusting to assemble parcels of land. The pitch: you can sell to us or live surrounded by data centers.

The tech bros don’t care that they are ruining the electrical grid, sucking up fresh water supplies, eating up all the venture capital in what has been called “the biggest misallocation of capital in history”.

The corporatist version of “society”

And what of the now obsolete “citizens” and their concerns? Well, half the US has been at “you will own nothing” for a decade. People use BNPL for a cheap hamburger. These desperate and/or despairing people are easy prey for “influencers” who sell snake oil. Now they are being robbed blind by “prediction markets” - which are supported by Trump. He has made sure that the Commodity Futures Trading Commission has been, what else, fired. In its place, Trump appointed Micheal Selig, formerly a lawyer for crypto companies, who now sues the states who are suing prediction markets for making bets on wars and terrorist events.

If you want to be disgusted, watch John Oliver interview the dissembling 20-something CEOs of Kalshi and Polymarket. Wall St. made these clowns billionaires for legalized bookmaking - yet another zero-sum “business” that adds nothing to America’s ability to produce anything other than bankruptcy filings.

The bottom line is that the majority of the population are already serfs. And the further unemployment caused by the forced introduction of enshitified AI apps will create desperation that has not been seen since the Great Depression. And like it was under Herbert Hoover, the government will not intervene. Because markets. Go die.

The end game

America is now a resource colony for tech bros. Just as corrupt African nations only invest in railroads between mines and ports, tech bros America only invests in data centers and power supplies for them. No money for communities. No rights of communities to control their own back yard. No thought for the stability of the national electrical grid or the availability of potable water. The platform monopolies might as well be Chinese for all the control that US citizens can exert over it.

Expect more direct corporate rule, more government giveaways to platform monopolies already rolling in cash. There is no US anymore. There are just corporations. Margaret Thatcher would be proud.

This list is an insult to genuine scientists, especially non-physicists. It is a decapitation of expert-based US science policy. It is a sewer of conflicts of interest.

The National Science Board’s independence was designed to shield the NSF’s $9 billion budget and research agenda from political turnover. Without the board, experts warn the administration could directly control funding priorities, bypassing congressional intent and potentially narrowing investments to politically favored areas.

Some have raised concerns about conflicts of interest on the council. Google, Meta and NVIDIA each donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration. “What they lack in scientific credentials, they make up for in conflicts of interest. Nearly every one of these people—among them some of the world’s richest—has a direct financial stake in the policies that PCAST is supposed to advise the federal government on,” Jennifer Jones, director of the Center for Science and Democracy at the Union of Concerned Scientists, told C&EN in an emailed statement.
The new council is dominated by AI, quantum and semiconductor executives, meaning those recommendations are likely to steer federal priorities and funding toward those fields.
