Pull It

The rulers of the US have told Donald Trump to "Pull It", our country, that is. Trump is a short-sighted, narcissistic, transactional know-nothing. He is clearly following a tariff and privatization playbook handed to him by the reactionary Project 2025. Whether the ideologues behind that are as delusional as Trump is an open question. They could merely be cynical nihilists.

The "tarrifs" are the end of world trade. This is the end of the dollar. It was doomed from the end of Bretton Woods perhaps earlier. This has very little to do with the USA per se. The financiers are simply shutting down the ponzi. They got their loot. The USA is the bag man. No one cares about what happens to the USA. Thats just the fake cover story. A "blunder" is not being made. The level of consumption was not sustainable either not just the Ponzi design itself. There were no "cruel" checks and balances of a natural eco system. That was the whole point. The Ponzi has netted what it can. It was the mother of all looting jobs. They have pulled the pin. The dollar folds in on itself.

Meanwhile, the "big" pushback from the Dems against Trump's many overreaches is a rally, Hands Off. A rally. Right. That is going to make a big difference. And it doesn't even have a clear focus with concrete demands. Its just acting out. This rally is run by yet another bunch of Washington insider Dems, calling themselves "Indivisible". Indivisible was founded by former Congressional staffers and has Van Jones (Obama guy) on board. Its founders are ?documented? as having worked for Soros or Soros-adjacent organizations. Same old same old. Nobody is going to buy this. It just further discredits the already discredited corporate, neoliberal, woke Democratic Party.

Sane people have nowhere to go. Trump is a toxic wrecker, and the Dems are still pushing woke and arming Israel's genocide. The legislative branch is useless, paralyzed, bribed, and only interested in getting their piece of the gravy train. Democracy looks pretty dead at this point.

If people are disgusted by "democracy" - and it's obvious that they will soon hate the notion since the well has been poisoned beyond redemption by our elites -, then they're going to go for another political system, which mostly means some kind of tyranny, since the people are also fed up with the economic oligarchy which actually is the current system across most of the West.

People should really come to grips with it and begin to think about the checks and balances that could be finessed into the incoming non-democratic and non-liberal systems that will eventually take over, about who should rule (or who'd be the least bad options), and how to push into that direction instead of letting the usual corrupt or crazy finance-friendly fascistoids come to power. Basically, once the inevitable is known, how best to live with it and dampen its negative side-effects, its inherent violence, how to push the unavoidable level of violence towards deserving targets, for a change - if not how to rein in into people's genuine interests.

Trump/Musk is the end of democracy. Trump's legitimate election (due to complete Dem incompetence) was our Enabling Act. We already had an imperial presidency; we were just waiting for someone nasty enough to use that power. Trump will succeed in wrecking the country, and be well-rewarded personally. Not that it will do him much good, as he is already 79 years old.

The rest of America is screwed. Trump has attacked programs that actually do good for citizens with minimal overhead: social security, the national parks, the VA, the Post Office, section 8 housing, SNAP. He is defunding the government by firing IRS workers en masse. Meanwhile, the Dems focus on defending trans athletes, pushing inappropriate sex education, and protecting illegal immigrants. They could focus on why the bloated, corrupt defense budget is going up. They could focus on why we are instigating conflicts around the world: Yemen, Taiwan, Iran. But, they get paid to be tone deaf.

The Chinese have stepped right up to the tariff war, which will now escalate until international trade comes to a standstill and stock markets everywhere crash. Its the perfect setup for the US to declare bankruptcy and get rid of all those pesky obligations, like Social Security, Medicare, the VA.

It may be the end of the world if Trump gets goaded or false flagged into attacking Iran. That is beyond stupid. It is suicidal.

In closing

I see nothing positive. I see no credible organized opposition to these barbarians looting what is left of our country's wealth and destroying our communities. Time to head for the woods and start prepping.
